Full Rental Agreement
Rates are subject to change during special events or holidays. The minimum reservation fee is $300.00 for a travel trailer and $600.00 for the Class C units which is applied toward the rental price. A deposit is necessary to hold a booking on the calendar. This deposit is refundable up to 60 days of departure. The full rental amount will be due if you cancel within 7 days of your rental and will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of rental. There will be no refunds for special events such as NASCAR, Holidays, etc. The security deposit is $500 on all trailers and $1000 on all motorhomes. We will refund the deposit within 7 days of the rental return, either by check or refund to the credit card.
Renters Responsibility
The customer is responsible for checking engine oil, fluids, and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at rental. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event the vehicle is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more, through no fault of the customer, our responsibility to customer is limited to refund of daily rate or portion thereof. Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and appliances, cruise control, and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for repair time to these items.
Customers are responsible for reporting and payment of all parking/traffic violations at rental termination. Non-reporting of parking/traffic violations breaches the Rental Contract and may result in an administrative charge in addition to the fines.
Damage
If the RV is returned with damage while the RV was in possession of the renter, the renter is responsible to pay for all damages or file insurance (where applicable) for all repairs and loss of use whether the renter was at fault or not, including but not limited to damage caused by acts of nature such as wind, rain, earthquake, fire, flood, etc. In the event that any legal action has to be taken by D&H RV Rentals to recover for said damage incurred the renter shall be liable for all attorney fees, court costs, collection costs and any other expenses born by D&H RV Rentals.
Towing
Towing is permitted, but no towing apparatus or hook-up services are provided under any circumstances from D&H RV Rentals. Customer must declare intention to tow prior to departure and warrant that towing weight is within 2,500 lb. tow weight restrictions. D&H RV Rentals provides no collision or liability coverage for damage to the towed object or for third- party injury inflicted by the towed object, under any circumstances.
Smoking
Due to the various health implications, smoking is not permitted in any rental units. If there's evidence of smoking in the rental unit upon returning, your full deposit will be forfeited.
Pets
Only dogs are allowed. Although we take extra measures to clean the RV when we know there has been a pet in the RV, we ask that you do your part as well. This includes covering the furniture with a cover or a sheet, and if you need to leave the pet unattended, we request that you put your pet in a cage or travel kennel while you are unable to supervise the actions of your pet. There will be a non-refundable cleaning fee. D&H reserves the right to refuse a pet if we determine it necessary. Any damages arising from the presence of a pet will be deducted from your deposit.
